Volunteer: Coaching Corner MentorWe are seeking a dedicated volunteer mentor to support the Coaching Corner at our monthly job fairs. This mentor will play a key role in empowering job seekers by offering practical, hands‑on coaching in areas such as interview preparation, resume and application strategies, and effective job‑search techniques. In this role, the mentor will also share valuable insights from an employer’s perspective, helping candidates understand what hiring managers look for, how to communicate their strengths, and how to present themselves with confidence and professionalism. Beyond interview tips, the mentor will guide job seekers through the full job‑search journey, including: Strengthening resumes and online applicationsUnderstanding common hiring processes and timelinesPracticing mock interviews and answering challenging questionsOffering feedback on communication, body language, and presentationHelping candidates identify their transferable skillsProviding encouragement and confidence‑building supportThe goal is to equip job seekers with the tools, knowledge, and mindset they need to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
